Is Teachers’ Day merely a moment to say “thank you”?

At Qs School, we believe Teachers’ Day is much more than appreciation—it is a powerful opportunity to honour teachers, celebrate their impact, and recognise the joy and meaning of education.

That belief inspired us to create a truly unique celebration:💛 ESG Teachers’ Day — centred on Emotion, Soul, and Growth.

1. The Warmth of Emotion — Gratitude, Seen

Pink and beige heart-shaped paper tags with names hang on a blue board. A sign reads "Books Are Not Allowed to Take Out of the Campus."

One week before the celebration, a bright and heartfelt Thank-You Wall appeared on campus.

Students were invited to write emails, draw cards, and handwrite letters expressing gratitude they rarely put into words. Soon, the wall became the warmest corner of the school—filled with colourful drawings and simple, sincere messages that captured pure emotion.

2. The Resonance of the Soul — Touching Hearts, Passing It On

Colorful handmade cards on a blue fabric. Text includes "Happy Teacher's Day" and "Dear Jessie." A pencil and wrapped gifts nearby.

Hundreds of letters were carefully sorted and transformed into a personalised “Gift of Love” pack for every teacher.

As our staff read through each message, many were deeply moved:

“I never realised teachers are seen as such cool heroes by the kids!”

Organising these letters became a gentle reminder of the deep emotional reward and fulfilment that teaching brings.

The gratitude flowed from students to teachers—and quietly touched every one of us.

3. The Celebration of Growth — A Ceremony to Honour Educators

On the morning of ESG Teachers’ Day, the campus was filled with warmth and vibrant colours.

Together with early-arriving students, staff created a dreamy Flower Wall that became the centrepiece of the celebration.

As teachers stepped onto campus, they were welcomed with:

✨ Bright smiles

✨ Cheerful “Happy Teachers’ Day!” greetings

✨ A fresh flower symbolising respect

✨ A thoughtfully prepared bundle of thank-you letters

Teachers paused to take photos at the Flower Wall—capturing a moment surrounded by love, appreciation, and the pride of being truly seen.

At noon, the Staff Room was transformed into a cosy dessert space featuring refreshing yogurt bowls with DIY toppings.

Teachers enjoyed delicious treats, light conversations, and meaningful connections. In this relaxed atmosphere, the team grew closer, happier, and more energised.

4. Letters from Qs School Principals

In this touching moment, two heartfelt letters were quietly placed into the Thank-You Boxes—warm messages from Principal Chen Yan and Principal Kevin.

Their letters expressed:

✔ Deep gratitude for teachers’ dedication

✔ Recognition of every effort poured into students

✔ Encouragement for sustaining passion in education

✔ A shared vision for nurturing future generations through ESG values

5. ESG Teachers' Day is Beyond a Single Day — A Lasting Spirit at Qs School

Although the ESG Teachers’ Day celebration has come to a close, its spirit lives on.

At Qs School, Emotion, Soul, and Growth are part of our everyday teaching philosophy.

We believe that:

  • Teachers who feel seen can better see the unique potential in every child.

  • A nourished soul can inspire, uplift, and nurture others.

  • Growth happens where love, trust, and appreciation exist.

The love and energy created through this celebration will continue to shine—guiding every educator on their path and reminding us all why teaching is beautiful.
