In the first term of 2024, we hosted a successful parent gathering on healthy family relationships. This interactive session tackled the crucial topic of navigating challenges within families, whether with children or partners. Participants explored the theme from three key perspectives:

Envisioning the Ideal

We began by brainstorming what an ideal family relationship looks like for each participant. This set the stage for a positive and aspirational discussion.

Identifying Challenges

We openly discussed the current challenges parents face in their families. Sharing these experiences fostered a sense of community and understanding.

Workshops for Healthy Family Relationships

Working in smaller groups, participants brainstormed solutions based on their own experiences and those of others. Principal Chen also provided valuable insights and practical advice.

From Inspiration to Action

Following the success of the gathering, we established a dedicated ‘Practice Group’ for participants. This ongoing group provides a space for parents to share their triumphs, challenges, and ongoing efforts to improve their family dynamics. Through mutual support and encouragement, members continue to learn from each other and draw strength to create loving and civilised homes.
